SUMMARY:HomeFit Presentation
DESCRIPTION:AARP research consistently finds that the vast majority of people age 50 and older want to stay in their homes and communities for as long as possible. The AARP “HomeFit Guide” was created to help people stay in the homes they love by turning where they live into a “lifelong home\,” suitable for themselves and anyone in their household. This free presentation offers solutions that range from simple do-it-yourself fixes to improvements that are more involved and require skilled expertise but are well worth the expense. \nAbout our presenter: Gene Nicolelli\, AIA Emeritus\, is an award-winning architect licensed in Minnesota. He is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) with expertise in universal design and has 48 years of experience in residential architecture. Gene will walk us through the “HomeFit Guide” and share his own advice on modifications that help people stay at home where they want to be. \nRegister online \nView/download HomeFit Guide \n  \n
