Christie John has provided administrative support, case management services, and leadership in non-profit organizations for over 20 years. Shortly after moving to Grand Marais in July 2019, she was hired as Program & Volunteer Coordinator with Care Partners of Cook County, a volunteer-based non-profit organization that supports older adults and caregivers. In 2021, she was additionally hired by the Cook County Aging Coalition to help develop the Aging Well Resources website and serve as Care Navigator.

When she is not working to assist older adults, Christie enjoys being an older adult – reading, crafting, gardening, exploring the beauty of our area, and trying to keep tabs on her children and grandchildren in Iowa.
