Care Partners of Cook County’s annual “Light up a Life” offers community members the opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one during the holiday season. Each donation lights one bulb in memory of one person on our memory tree, which will be located downtown in front of the Johnson Heritage Post. Donation forms are available at area businesses, in the November issue of Northern Wilds, or download a donation form here.
The Tree Lighting event will be held inside the Johnson Heritage Post on Thursday, December 7th at 5:30 pm. The evening will begin with a short ceremony of reflection and connection, followed by the lighting of the Memory Tree. Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony. Donations to Light Up a Life help support Care Partner’s palliative and end of life services in Cook County.
