• First Thursday of the month from 9:15-10:15am
• No registration necessary – first come, first served 
• Blood pressure screening – no charge
• Blood sugar screening – $3.00

Bone Builders Exercise Program

• Free exercise program sponsored by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), designed to help individuals maintain bone mass and build on existing bone mass
• No pre-registration required
• Hand and leg weights available on site; no other equipment needed – just bring water and a smile

Cook County YMCA

Silver Sneakers Program

• For adults 65 and older through select Medicare plans
• Circuit and Yoga group classes
• Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10-10:45am
• No charge for those enrolled in Silver Sneakers
• To find out if you are eligible for Silver Sneakers, visit the Silver Sneakers Website or call (866) 584-7389
• Once you are enrolled in Silver Sneakers, contact the Cook County YMCA to sign up for a class

Fitness Facilities & Group Exercise

• • Membership or day pass provides access to YMCA facilities including indoor track, hot tub, sauna, pool,  gymnasium and showers
  • Reservations required for pool use

Exercise Classes at The Hub/Cook County Senior Center

• Classes taught by volunteers on a one-time or ongoing basis
• Subjects have included yoga, tai-chi, balance, and more
• Free of charge

Foot Care Clinic at Birch Grove

• Third Wednesday of each month, 12:30-1:30pm
• Must bring your own foot basin, towel, and soap
• Cost: $10 cash
• Pregistration necessary – call Sawtooth Mountain Clinic at 218-387-2330

• Must bring your own foot basin and towel, and wear a mask at all times
• Cost: $10 cash

• Tuesdays & Thursdays around 10:30-11:30 am
• Participants are free to walk alone or with others
• Programs are also sometimes offered, such as Wisdom Steps and Walk with Ease
