Silver Bay Veterans Home, Silver Bay (Lake County)
- Four distinct households that combine the look and feel of a northwoods lodge
- Each household includes a living room, dining room and kitchen where meals and activities are offered
- Admission Requirements:
- Honorably discharged veteran who entered service from Minnesota, or is a current Minnesota resident
- Served 181 consecutive days on active duty (unless discharged earlier because of disability incurred in the line of duty)
- Spouse of an eligible veteran who is at least 55 years
old and meets residency requirements - Able to demonstrate a medical or clinical need
for admission
