End of Life Doulas: Midwives to the Dying
Death Doulas play a vital role in the end-of-life journey, offering holistic support that addresses the emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of individuals and their families. In this session, Cook County Doulas will discuss emotional support, spiritual guidance, practical assistance, legacy projects, and vigil presence. You’re welcome to bring your own brown bag lunch – water and tea will be provided.
This session serves as an introduction to a 5-Part Series which will be offered monthly by the Doulas on Thursdays at Cook County Higher Education from 11:30am to 1pm beginning November 20.
