Tai chi, also called tai chi chuan, is a system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner, accompanied by deep breathing. Tai Chi can help to reactivate mindful body connection, improve balance, reduce pain (gentle, slow movement lubricates joints), improve mood, and foster social connections.
